The Power List tasks are supposed to be tasks that will help move you forward in your life or career that you aren't already doing on a daily basis. For example, it won't be things like chores or yard work. Instead, an example could be make 5 extra sales calls, meal prep, or watch an informative video on a subject that will help you improve, etc.
The Power List is intentionally limited to five tasks to ensure a focused and achievable approach. By keeping your tasks to five, you can avoid overwhelming yourself, build momentum, and still have a life.
The downside to having more than 5 tasks is that it's not sustainable in the long term. Because one day, let's say you get 8 tasks completed, then the next day ... you only get 2 done because you were "extra productive" the day before. Operating like this takes away from any previous confidence you built up, and won't create the necessary momentum needed to win every day.
No, your tasks don't have to be the same every day. What progresses you forward one day, may not be relevant the next day. The Power List allows for flexibility, but you should also be working to create habits out of recurring Power List tasks.

Select tasks that align with your long-term goals and that have a significant impact on your progress. Avoid routine tasks that you do already, or low-priority tasks that won't move you or your career forward.
You have from the time you wake up to the time you go to sleep to finish your Power List Tasks.
The point of the Power List is to complete tasks that will make a significant impact on your life. There will be days that are harder than others ... but your goal should be to stay committed to the things that will move your life forward, regardless of what obstacles come your way.
While the 75 HARD/LiveHard program does include tasks that you must complete every day, the Power List is separate from those tasks.
